Traci Manry
Traci Manry is a National Board Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. She is an EMDRIA-approved EMDR trained therapist in the process of becoming certified in EMDR with experience implementing a trauma-informed approach to help children and adolescents, adults, and families heal from past and present adverse experiences. She earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has taught inpatient and outpatient adolescent and children DBT/CBT groups. Prior to becoming a counselor she spent 16 years helping people discover their career goals and helped them pursue education to accomplish them. She is passionate about helping people remove the barriers from their lives which are keeping them from reaching their full potential in all areas of their lives.

She is passionate with working with all ages including children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in helping first responders and their spouses individually and in their relationships

She is the author of the book "Who Told U That." Written to help children understand shame when they encounter unhealthy experiences. When children identify shame and work though their experiences, this is called processing. Processed experiences can prevent the experience from forming negative core beliefs about themselves. She wrote the book for children and for parents to understated how experiences create beliefs about ourselves and to give parents a tool to help their children when they are struggling with shame-based thinking, thinking that shows up as "I am not good enough."
